Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above)/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal
| Arrangement of classes and final examinations when the signal is hoisted | |
| Before the classes and final examinations start | All classes, final examinations and outdoor teaching activities will be suspended until the related signal is cancelled. |
| After the classes and final examinations start | All classes will be suspended immediately while final examinations will be continued till the end as scheduled. |
| Arrangement of classes and final examinations when the signal is cancelled | |
| Classes and final examinations which begin 2 hours after the cancellation of signal will be held as scheduled. All outdoor teaching activities on that day will be cancelled.
(E.g.: If the signal is cancelled on 13:00, classes and final examinations which begin at or after 15:00 will be held as scheduled.) |

Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1 or No. 3/Yellow or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal
When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 1 or No. 3/Yellow or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, all classes and final examinations will be held as scheduled.
